The case for a sloower morningg
Protecting the first hour of the day does more for your work than any productivity system...
Most of us hand the first hour of the day away before we are properly awake. The inbox opens, the feed scrolls, and by the time we sit down to do the work that matters, the sharpest part of our attention has already been spent.
A slower morning is not about waking at five. It is about ordering the day so that the first thing you touch is the thing you care about most.
Start with one page
Write a single page before anything else. Not for an audience, not for a deadline. The page is a warm-up, and it reliably turns a foggy head into a working one.
Do this for two weeks and the change is obvious. The work gets done earlier, and the rest of the day feels borrowed rather than owed.
